A choice of work by artist Brad Stumpf. Functioning like miniature stage-sets, Stumpf describes his work as acknowledging moments in life that “make me wish to maintain my breath.” A lot of Stumpf’s work navigate themes associated to household and mortality. With this group of work particularly, Stumpf grapples along with his mom’s battle with most cancers. On the time of submitting the photographs, he wrote:
“I made these works over the previous couple of months whereas processing my mom’s lung most cancers prognosis. She handed away this morning. This group of work depicts my makes an attempt at understanding grief and its course of.”
