The New York-based artist (previously) continues to weave scores of commercial nylon cables into works that seem to scale gallery partitions and spawn in dense clusters in public areas.
Park’s newest initiatives embrace “Metropolis Ecology,” a group of 32 sculptures nested within the flower beds and landscaping of Bella Azbug Park in Hudson Yards. Tucked throughout the lush greenery and dried, autumn leaves, the works are vivid, otherworldly additions to a inexperienced area throughout the metropolis.
