“Late Present” host Stephen Colbert on Monday mocked Donald Trump for obsessing over one unusual situation.
“This man by no means overpassed what issues most to voters: That he as soon as took a cognitive take a look at that checks for mind harm,” he cracked.
Trump has repeatedly boasted about how he “aced” the Montreal Cognitive Evaluation (MoCA), which he took in 2020 when he was president. That’s the widely mocked “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.” test that checks for the cognitive harm that would point out dementia.
As such, it’s supposed to be easy.
However the former president has insisted that it’s difficult, and did so once more over the weekend in a clip Colbert performed.
“They offer you six names in a row, I took a variety of warmth on this, they provide you six names in a row originally, ‘Sir, I’m gonna provide you with six names.’ Good,” Trump defined. “A chair. A hat. A badge. A necklace. And a vote.”
Colbert discovered “so much to unpack” in that one quick clip.
“To begin with, these aren’t names. These are issues,” Colbert stated. “He additionally stated they provide you six names: Chair, hat, badge, necklace, vote. That’s solely 5 issues.”
Then, he broke out his impression of Trump.
“Y’know cognitive assessments are like jazz: It’s about all of the names you don’t bear in mind,” he stated.
