A brand new collection of work integrating private tales, reminiscences, and cultural id by Los Angeles-based artist Adrian Kay Wong (beforehand featured here). In “Upon a Golden Mountain” Wong depicts delicate narratives into the seemingly incidental moments of the on a regular basis. Navigating the boundaries between abstraction and illustration, artifice and actuality, ethereal and visceral, Wong’s pictures converse to the dualities that coexist in our day by day lives, resembling connection and isolation, belonging and solitude, love and loss.
