Born on Staten Island and raised within the Hudson Valley, photographer Megan Reilly graduated together with her Bachelors in Tremendous Arts and pictures from The State College of New York. Her sequence, “A Cope with God,” is an introspective photograph essay reflecting on themes of childhood, faith, lesbian sexuality, and studying how you can develop into a girl:
“As a younger woman, my first recollections and introduction to life started with September eleventh. The digicam lens acted like a microscope, I might privately query the conservative American perception system I participated in. Retrospectively, the venture was created as a approach for me to take up area as a storyteller and tackle the emotional confines I used to be feeling all through adolescence. I’m now in a position to settle, referring to philosophies on metaphysics and trying to find solutions, peace, residence, connections with folks, and the next energy. Pictures has served as safety and illustration, giving the liberty of expression and the liberation of curiosity.”
